We are dedicated to addressing the needs of our fellow citizens living under the weight of poverty by providing nutritious food and fostering a spirit of caring and compassion.
Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry will be closed Friday, December 19th to Monday, January 5th.
Please plan your shopping accordingly.
During this time, please do not leave food donations at the pantry.
In order to qualify for food, your family must fall within the federal income guidelines according to household size. Please bring a form of identification showing that you are a resident of Delaware County. If updated identification is not available, please provide a copy of a utility bill. Clients can receive food once a calendar month.
Loaves & Fishes food distributions are Tuesdays 11:00 AM–2:00 PM and 5:00 PM–7:00 PM, and Thursdays 1:00 PM–4:00 PM.
To make a reservation, please be in line 1 hour before the distribution begins.
Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please remain in line in an orderly fashion.
Listen for your name to be called once the distribution begins. Walk-up clients will be served along with those who have scheduled appointments. For appointment information, please see below.
Appointments will be made available online each Friday at 9am for the following week and will only be available a week at a time.
Three (3) online appointments will be available for each half-hour of the distribution (i.e. 11am, 11:30, 12:00, etc.). Please note: An appointment is not required to receive food. A limited number of walk-up clients will still be served. Registration for these clients will begin an hour before the distribution on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The window to make an on-line appointment will close at 5:00pm the day before the distribution for any unclaimed appointment slots.
Please come to the gray pantry doors 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to begin registration.
Appointments will be cancelled if a client arrives more than 10 minutes late for the scheduled time (i.e. if your appointment is for 2pm, you must be present no later than 2:10pm).
You will only receive a notification email if you are not eligible for an online appointment. Eligible appointments will be marked “APPROVED” in your online account no later than 9pm the night before the appointment.
Only appointments for clients who have visited the pantry since January 1, 2025 will be approved.
