Hearing the stories of those who come to us for help, seeing the looks on the faces of those who are struggling to get by, and knowing that we have helped in a small way gives me great joy and fulfillment. |
Our Mission
The Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry strives to meet the needs of our fellow citizens living under the weight of poverty by providing nutritious food and a spirit of caring and compassion. In addition, we work to eradicate not only their hunger, but the causes of their poverty. We are a voice for them and are their advocate striving to make their lives better so they can not only shake off the shadow of poverty, but become an example to others who share their economic and social challenges.
