In operation since late August 2001, the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry is a non-denominational, non-sectarian food bank that supplies food to those in need in an area, and the pantry is staffed completely by volunteers. |
Our Mission
The Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry strives to meet the needs of our fellow citizens living under the weight of poverty by providing nutritious food and a spirit of caring and compassion. In addition, we work to eradicate not only their hunger, but the causes of their poverty. We are a voice for them and are their advocate striving to make their lives better so they can not only shake off the shadow of poverty, but become an example to others who share their economic and social challenges.
