The Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry covers a geographic area that runs from Eddystone (Delaware County, Pa.) to Glenolden and from Tinicum Township up to Morton/Rutledge. This area is composed of the Interboro and Ridley School Districts.

In addition to living within the geographic guidelines, there are eligibility requirements which are those set by the United States Department of Agriculture. Those requirements, shown below, are effective July 1, 2008 to June 30, 2009. The calculations are reset each year by the federal government.

In order to be eligible to become a client, each applicant must bring with them the following information:

• Current proof of address – a piece of mail, lease agreement, etc. NOT a driver’s license.
• Proof of birth date of each member of the household.
• A social security card for each member of the household – not just a number.
• Proof of income - If you are receiving government benefits, the annual letter provided by the government is required; for all others, a paycheck stub or other valid form of proof of income.

Each applicant will be individually interviewed and asked to show the information shown above.
